The Workforce & Continuing Education (WCE) division offers workforce education programs that provide training for health professionals, peace officers, firefighters, heavy equipment operators, truck drivers, manufacturers, aspiring entrepreneurs, small business owners, and more.

 

Allied Health

Allied Health programs offer you the chance to assist patients, healthcare organizations, and healthcare professionals. Allied Health professionals are involved in the assessment, evaluation, treatment, and prevention of disease   in collaboration with a wide variety of health professions, and individuals with many different skill and knowledge levels can succeed in these areas.

Business & Industry

Get the skills you need to work toward a lucrative new career, improve your skills or run your own business. Technology courses keep pace with the fast-moving world of technology and workforce training needs.

 

 
Public Safety

Public Safety programs offer students the chance to gain employment or promotion within public or private agencies which maintain public safety, prevent crime, apprehend or rehabilitate criminals, and insure social welfare. Individuals will learn the practical and cognitive skills required to effectively and safety protect citizens.

 
Risk Management & Safety

The Risk Management & Safety program at Angelina College was created with donations from Texas Mutual Insurance Company to provide the community and employers with safety-related training to promote a safer and healthier community and workforce for the Angelina College 12-county service area.

Pursue your passion in the classroom or the great outdoors! Discover new perspectives, explore your creative side and broaden your knowledge. Many courses are available for kids and families.

 

 
Camp Roadrunner

Camp Roadrunner is a fun, recreational, motivational, and educational adventure for children that emphasizes core values of teamwork, communication, sportsmanship and fun. Camp sessions are Monday through Thursday and structured like a normal day of regular school with campers moving through our facilities, participating in different programs throughout the day.

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) program consists of five certifications: Nurse Aide, Phlebotomy, EKG Technician, CPR-BLS, and PCT. PCTs are important members of any healthcare team and have ongoing opportunities to make a difference in the lives of their patients.

The U. S. Department of Education has awarded AC a nearly $3 million Title V grant. Title V initiatives include pursuing additional technology-related programs to meet industry and area needs, as well as providing funds for programs designed to boost student retention and success.
